A Clean Community Starts at Home
As summer arrives and outdoor projects get underway, the Village would like to remind residents of the importance of keeping properties clean, safe, and well maintained.
Under the Village's Clean Yard By-law No. 06-2017, property owners are responsible for keeping yards free of garbage, refuse, debris, and excessive vegetation. Grass and weeds must be maintained, and derelict or inoperable vehicles should not be stored on residential properties. These standards help keep our neighbourhoods attractive, reduce pest issues, improve safety, and contribute to community pride.
Residents are also reminded that yard waste, including grass clippings, leaves, brush, and garden debris, must be taken to the Chetwynd Landfill for disposal at the property owner's expense. Yard waste should not be dumped on vacant lands, municipal property, or within natural areas.
Thank you for helping keep Burk's Falls clean, welcoming, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
Let me know if there are any revisions or additions to be made.
